About Us

NTX Enviro specializes in mold-related indoor air quality (IAQ) inspection, testing, and assessment services. We are a licensed Mold Assessment Consultant regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) under the Texas Mold Assessors and Remediators Rules (Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1958; 16 TAC Chapter 78).

Because NTX Enviro does not perform mold remediation or cleanup, our role is strictly independent and unbiased. This ensures that our evaluations are based solely on observed conditions, laboratory data, and regulatory standards – not on selling remediation services.

Our mission is to provide accurate, neutral, and defensible information so that property owners, buyers, and managers can make informed decisions. We are committed to:

  • Delivering professional, licensed mold inspections and testing in compliance with Texas law.
  • Maintaining integrity and accuracy in every report.
  • Communicating findings clearly so you understand your options.
  • Supporting clients with protocol development, clearance inspections, and ongoing education.

At NTX Enviro, we don’t speculate – we educate. Our reputation for excellence is built on consistency, transparency, and client trust.

Hello and welcome!

My name is Dennis Butts, and I am the owner of NTX Enviro Consulting Services. My family and I live in The Colony, Texas, and I have proudly served the North Texas community in the property damage restoration industry since 2011.

With more than a decade of hands-on experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, and property damage services, I bring a perspective to mold inspections that goes beyond textbook knowledge. This background allows me to understand both the causes of indoor environmental issues and the best practices for assessing them.

At NTX Enviro, I serve as a licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Because NTX Enviro does not perform remediation, my role is strictly independent and unbiased – giving you confidence that the results are based only on observed conditions, laboratory data, and regulatory standards.

My pledge is simple: to provide accurate, clear, and defensible information so you can make informed decisions about your property. Clients can expect effective communication, timely reporting, and professionalism on every project.

If you are concerned about indoor air quality or need a licensed mold inspection, I would welcome the opportunity to help.
