MOLD INSPECTION SERVICES
NTX Enviro provides licensed mold inspection and testing services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties throughout North Texas. Our role is independent and unbiased – we do not perform remediation or cleanup, which eliminates any conflict of interest and ensures that our findings are based solely on observed conditions and laboratory analysis.
All inspections are conducted in compliance with the Texas Mold Assessors and Remediators Rules (Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 1958; 16 TAC Chapter 78). Our goal is to provide accurate, defensible information so you can make informed decisions about your property.
Please note: NTX Enviro does not perform crawlspace (pier and beam foundation) inspections.
Limited Mold Inspection
$975.00
Conducted prior to the start of a mold remediation project with the purpose of gathering data to confirm or deny the presence of mold.
This is for an assessment of up to three rooms/areas and is typically related to a known moisture intrusion event. This inspection is limited to the specific area of concern and does not include a visual examination of the entire building. On-site is usually between 2 to 4 hours depending on the size and complexity of the project.
Service Includes:
· Visual inspection of areas of concern for microbial growth, areas with elevated moisture, and indications of past/present moisture intrusion.
· Thermal imaging.
· Moisture measurements.
· Temperature and humidity readings.
· Particulate air samples.
· Mold samples (airborne or surface).
· Mold sample laboratory analysis.
· Identification of affected and damaged areas.
· Written assessment report with photos, findings, and recommendations.
· Written mold remediation protocol in accordance with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Mold Assessors and Remediators Administrative Rules.
Post Remediation Clearance Inspection

Conducted after mold remediation has been completed.
This service is performed after the mold remediation has been completed. On-site time is usually between 1 to 2 hours depending on the size and complexity of the project. The State of Texas requires that a project meet three criteria in order to be deemed a successful mold remediation:
Visual Inspection – no visible mold or wood rot;
Procedural Inspection – verify that the mold remediation protocol was followed as written; and
Analytical Inspection – verify that the work area been returned to a normal fungal environment.
Service Includes:
· Visual inspection of remediated area(s).
· Moisture measurements.
· Temperature and humidity readings.
· Particulate air samples.
· Mold samples (airborne or surface).
· Mold sample laboratory analysis.
· Written assessment report with photos, findings, and recommendations.
· Texas Department of Insurance Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation (if eligible).
Payment is due when services are rendered.
